Privacy Policy
Ultra Planner is currently in beta. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We'll update it as the product matures and notify users of material changes.
Information we collect
When you create an account or join the waitlist, we collect basic information you provide — typically your email address and any profile details you choose to share (such as name or race goals).
When you use the app, we store the race plans, drop bag lists, fueling notes, and other content you create. We also collect limited technical and usage data (device type, app version, and error logs) to keep the product running and improve reliability.
Photos. If you set a cover image, we upload only the specific photo you pick with the image picker. We never access the rest of your photo library.
Location (optional). If you grant permission, the mobile app uses your device location while you are using it to show your current position on a course map. It is used on-device for map display, is not stored on our servers, and is never sold or used for tracking. You can decline it, or revoke it later in your device settings, and the rest of the app keeps working.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the app and its features.
- To communicate with you about your account, beta updates, and changes to the service.
- To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your race plans for advertising.
Service providers
We use a small number of third-party services to host the app, store data, and send transactional emails. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security commitments, and they only access your data as needed to deliver their service to us.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by reputable cloud providers and protected with industry-standard encryption in transit. We take reasonable steps to safeguard your information, but no system is perfectly secure — please use a strong password and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your choices
You can update or delete information from your account at any time within the app. To request a copy of your data or full account deletion, email us at privacy@ultraplannerapp.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children
Ultra Planner is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
Because we are in beta, this policy may change as we add features and refine how the product works. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify active users by email or in-app message.
